Mother India has shown it's magic

After such a magic night we had a sleep in. This was perfect as we were meeting with Santosh today. I was anxious about Isla and how she would feel or how Santosh would feel but I needed of worried because it was exactly how it was meant to be.
Before we came to India I asked Isla to pick out a dress to wear when she was seeing Santosh and she told me she had to wear a red one because red was Santosh's favourite colour. As fate would have it Isla was right because red is Santosh's favourite colour.

We walked into SCI and Santosh was there with her sister Mala and her daughter Neha and they were so excited to see us. It was so natural and comfortable.
Santosh had bought me flowers and Isla a doll. Funnily enough it had red spots on the dolls dress like Isla had on. She has not put that doll down all day! Isla was happy to cuddle and kiss her straight away and told her she had missed her. As Isla's mum I am happy for her to do whatever she wants with her relationship with Santosh. I will support both of them to develop what they feel they need.
Mala was so happy to see us too and cried when I cuddled her and told me how much she loved me and Isla for changing her sisters life. I remember looking around the room to see every one crying, everyone except Isla who just smiled!

I couldn't believe how much Santosh's daughter had grown up. She is such a delightful young woman.

Isla told Neha that her dolly was called Neha.
We all talked for a while and we gave them our gifts. The girls had brought over  presents for the surrogate house so their children had new toys when they came to visit their mummy's. So lovely.

We said our goodbyes and are having dinner tomorrow night. Felicity and I overheard Isla singing to herself tonight "abcdefg does Santosh love me?" "Abcdefg I am going to give Santosh a big hug". Amazing that she feels that way.

After our meeting we went to the lotus temple. It was crazy busy and not as spiritual as previously but worth a visit.

We then called into a Haat and some purchases were made.

We then had high tea at the Imperial hotel. Very flash! Lovely motel, very regal.

Back to the motel for some shopping and hair dos! While I was at the hairdressers a lady I met a few years ago walks in! I keep shaking me head at the things that happen. I told her I was here with 8 girlfriends and she thanked me for loving India and for loving Santosh. 😘❤️ We have organised dinner with her Friday night.

  1. It's funny how we are surprised at beautiful Neha growing older yet it feels only like yesterday you celebrated Christmas in India with the newest member of your family. What a special experience you have all enjoyed!
